Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how American Pasteurization Company (“APC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through apcfoods.com and the website contact form.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you contact APC, we may collect your name, company, business contact information, company website, service interests, product category, project stage, timing, volume, packaging or logistics information, facility selection, and the message or other information you submit.

Information Collected Automatically

The website and its service providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, referring page, pages viewed, interaction events, dates and times, and similar technical information through server logs, cookies, or analytics tools.

No File Uploads

The public website form does not accept attachments. Do not submit confidential formulas, proprietary processes, trade secrets, or other sensitive product details unless APC asks you to use an APC-designated secure method.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Respond to and route inquiries
  • Evaluate potential projects and service needs
  • Communicate about existing or potential business relationships
  • Schedule shipping or receiving activity
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website
  • Measure website and form performance
  • Prevent spam and misuse
  • Comply with applicable obligations and protect APC and others

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that support website hosting, WordPress and Elementor, email delivery, spam prevention, analytics, security, and other business operations. These providers receive information for the services they perform for APC.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business.

APC does not sell personal information for money. At website launch, APC does not use advertising pixels or disclose website activity for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that configuration changes, APC will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law before enabling the new use.

5. Cookies and Analytics

The website may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for security, form operation, and basic site functionality. APC may also use analytics to understand aggregate website use and successful form submissions.

Analytics events must not include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, free-text messages, or other direct identifiers.

Where required, nonessential analytics will load after the visitor makes the applicable cookie choice. If APC later adds advertising or remarketing technology, the cookie controls and this policy will be updated before deployment.

6. Retention

APC retains information as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, manage business relationships, maintain security and records, and meet applicable obligations.

The launch configuration retains the backup copy of a form submission in WordPress or Elementor for no more than 90 days unless APC selects a different operational retention period. Routed business records may be retained longer when needed for an active or prospective relationship. Information that is no longer needed is deleted or de-identified.

7. Security

APC uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information it handles. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and APC cannot guarantee absolute security.

Website forms use HTTPS, authenticated email delivery, spam controls, restricted administrative access, and backup and rollback procedures.

8. Privacy Requests and Email Choices

You may opt out of nontransactional marketing email by using the unsubscribe method in the message.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or information about how it is used or disclosed.

Submit a request through the Contact page and write Privacy request in the message. APC may request information needed to understand and respond to the request.

9. Children’s Privacy

The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. APC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website.

10. External Links

The website may link to government agencies, industry organizations, and other third-party sites. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

APC may update this policy when its website, tools, or practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
